Great little basic campground. Clean pit toilets, nice private sites, and the camp host Pat was great. Water available from pump type faucet. Can walk to lake easily. There is a bumpy road leading to campground from trailhead parking, but was easy to get down.

The friendly host keeps the campground clean and tidy. There is noise from HWY 26- bring ear plugs. Amazing wildlife, we got to see all the frogs that just hatched, osprey, lots of butterflies. Note there is potable water but may not be accessible if you don't have decent upper body strength or an extra set of hands (it's a large metal hand pump).

We camped at frog lake for first time for 3 nights in mid August (last year we only got to use day area, that’s why we decided to try camping following year). Unfortunately this is the season of fire ban. Easy to navigate to from Hwy 26. Road is very bumpy. Our site was #21 which was pretty good, has direct path to the lake, many trees to hang hammocks . Bathrooms are super clean and well maintain... Bathrooms are super clean and well maintained. This campground has well water that you need to manually pump. Couple points about the water, it’s hard to pump it, need to have several pump attempts before water starts flowing, well by site #21 has non-clear water and I had doubts about using it (see picture). I was getting ready to go to closest grocery store to buy water but noticed the well by hosts site produces crystal clean water. Keep that in mind. VERY IMPORTANT: if you are a light sleeper, take earplugs, hwy26 traffic will keep you awake.

My family stayed 5 nights and loved it. We had spot 16, it is very large, large enough for 2 large and 1 medium tents. We where lucky, the day we pulled up camp, the started the fire band. The vault outhouse was just across the road, also the trash dumpster. The camp host, Shanna and Andrew were super nice and friendly, we had some great conversations. I definitely recommend this camp ground.

What a great campground! The vault toilet bathrooms are scrubbed everyday. Crystal, the camp host is doing a really great job at keeping them clean. The campsites were clean and spacious also. We'll definitely be back. The only reason I have 4 out of 5 stars is because at night you can hear the highway traffic. Otherwise we loved this campground.
