Beautiful scenery, we tried to make it down but the road was rough, lots of loose rocks and dirt on the hillsides, definitely a little hazardous. Called it off and turned around after a couple medium sized boulders laying in the roadway. I believe it was the brattain fire (2020) that caused most of this damage. The community has done a lot of great restoration, it’ll get smoother as time goes on.... MOSQUITOS! and a lovely campground with fire pits and picnic tables and a clean pit toilet. (Y'all are blessed out here in Oregon with lovely camping areas and cheap - use SR or Disabled Park pass! Bring bug stuff and screens for the car windows or a screen room tent thing for visiting or hanging out
