March 7: It was dark (shaded early in the morning) and the parking areas unswept. Portable toilets in place of regular restroom.

Very beautiful campsite, though the spots were very small and barely fit a single car, I don't know how 8 people and two cars could fit into one spot. It's pretty packed in, you are very close to your neighbors. On the website they listed running water and flush toilets but currently they are closed and have a portapotty. Lots to do around the area, great swimming spots

Nice place, our site was small, but had it's own charm (01). Definitely only room for one car. As others have noted, restrooms failed. There's a vault toilet as a back up, but that was out of toilet paper until the port a potty arrived. So come prepared. Sites vary widely in size and set up. Near Florence which is g handy.

Picking the right site can be a little hit or miss. Sometimes you're literally connected to a group next to you. The trails are wonderful. Facilities are well kept. Picnic tables and fire pits are a little worn down but it appears they're in the process of updating them. There is road noise from Hwy 101. Beach access is nearby with several different activity options and the dunes are pretty incred... Picking the right site can be a little hit or miss. Rustic camping spot just off the road. camp spots are all different. It is better to have a look at your site as some are right up to the edge of the campground road. No showers and the women's toilet was out, but they had outhouses that did not smell. There Is a great walk to the 2 mile hike to the dunes.
