About Rogue River RV Park

Campground in Oregon.

Nestled in the heart of southern Oregon, Rogue River RV Park offers a peaceful retreat for travelers seeking to experience one of the Pacific Northwest's most scenic regions. The park sits in close proximity to the legendary Rogue River, a destination that has captivated outdoor enthusiasts for generations with its pristine waters and dramatic canyon landscapes.

The Rogue River valley is a haven for those who love nature in all its forms. Whether you're an angler looking to test your skills on world-class salmon and steelhead waters, or simply someone who wants to wake up surrounded by towering Douglas firs and the gentle sound of flowing water, this area delivers an authentic Oregon experience. The river itself is a natural wonder, carving through rugged terrain and creating some of the most beautiful scenery in the state.

Beyond the river, the region offers surprising variety for exploration. The nearby town of Grants Pass serves as a cultural and culinary hub, with local restaurants, breweries, and shops that reflect the area's creative spirit and outdoor heritage. For history buffs, the Jacksonville Historic District is a short drive away, featuring well-preserved gold rush era buildings that transport you back to the 1800s. The distinct charm of this area lies in how it balances authentic frontier character with modern traveler conveniences.

Outdoor activities abound in every season. Hiking trails wind through nearby forests and along dramatic viewpoints. Jet boat tours venture into the Rogue River canyon, offering thrilling perspectives on the landscape. Birdwatchers and wildlife photographers find exceptional opportunities throughout the year. The area's mild climate makes it accessible for much of the year, though summer and early fall represent peak seasons when the weather is most reliable.

This location appeals to a wide range of travelers: retirees seeking a slower pace, families wanting adventure and natural beauty, outdoor enthusiasts pursuing specific activities like fishing or hiking, and anyone craving a genuine escape from urban life. The Rogue River valley combines accessibility with genuine wilderness character, making it an ideal home base for an RV adventure in Oregon.

We stayed here a few times before, after we got married in Shady Cove. Great place for guests to stay and loved it. This year to celebrate our anniversary we are here for 5 days. Seems like it has changed with more full-time renters, not that should be an issue but they let their dogs run loose! Sorry but with the rules imposed yet no full time staff, obviously the rules only apply to some of us.... We stayed here a few times before, after we got married in Shady Cove. It was nice to stay here but I didn’t appreciate the way they made me feel when I tried to stay long-term. I have an older trailer that my parents gave to me and needed somewhere to stay due to our home having issues. They wouldn’t tell me why I was denied. I’m pretty sure it’s because of the trailer but they weren’t transparent. I have great credit but life has been tough with my girl and baby. I... I don’t like being discriminated upon because I don’t have a lot of money. I wrong go there again.

We got a river front lot. It's quiet and clean. Some reviewers said only one working washing machine but they had two sets fully functional (July 2023). $2.00 each - you need lots of quarters! Most are residents and older as well. This isn't the place if you want to stay up late, drink and be loud! The residents we met were all friendly. This isn't the place if you want to stay up late, drink and be loud! The residents we met were all friendly. The bathroom was clean all the time (we stayed 4 days). Didn't use the shower but it looked clean as well. Yes the space is tight but it didn't bother us since people were quiet and friendly. We sat outside and watch th rafters go by, geese and deer on the other side of the river, etc. You can use the small swimming pool at Edgewater Inn. Its water was surprisingly clean - I'd assumed it smelled like chlorine but no. In large pools my kids get chlorine burn but they didn't with this one. There's a market across the street but groceries were more expensive than in San Diego, CA. Also oddly we weren't able to find any postcards. Not even Medford postcards.

The park has a beautiful view of the river and access to fishing. The park is clean, well maintained and quiet. We felt safe while there. The laundry facility is lacking in the number of washers and dryers, and at times was difficult to get in. I did feel the price was high for the area and lack of amenities.

Nice RV park. Only complaint I had was the laundry room. It needs cleaning pretty badly. Also, 2 washers and only 1 functioning dryer. But, I loved the walking path and the beautiful location on the river. Very well kept grounds. The manager was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the park.
