We loved the Cottage / Cabin and our neighbors were great. Most of the staff were pleasant and friendly and quite fantastic but there is one staff member who works the front booth and was always on her phone with her air pod in her ear and always difficult to speak to and frankly just kind of rude so stars on service lose two stars. The beach was nice and an easy walk. But you have to cross 101 without getting run over. The rv site was clean and wooded. We had full hookups but found a leak in our motorcoach so we had no water. Bathrooms were very clean and looked newly remodeled. Showers were nice and warm. The entire bathroom was heated. There is an indoor pool but i didnt use it. The downside was their internet was out for entire stay and there was no cell service for verizon. We also dont have starlink. We usually will uber but since we had no cell service/internet we couldnt do that. We dont tow a vehicle for short weekend trips when a city is close by. But who would have thought 6 miles out of Newport there would be no cell service on hwy 101. Crazy. But it was a relaxing weekend of lots of reading and beach walks. Not to mention there is plenty of outdoor things to do like disk golf, huge checker board, volleyball court, mini golf, bball, and list goes on. I would probably not stay here again unless our other favorite rv resort nearby is full.

Camp host are always attentive to help but you may get attitude from some who are not wanting to do their job. My membership pays to keep these places running. We go camping to enjoy our weekends but at this resort pool and hot tub is closed at 6 pm that’s so controlling and leaves guests with nothing to do except hang out in your trailer . Listen here 8 pm on the weekends during winter is not muc... Camp host are always attentive to help but you may get attitude from some who are not wanting to do their job. Wow! What a shock. They post these beautiful pictures of the resort with Putt-Putt golf swimming pool recreational center hot tub. But what a piece of crap this campground is. The lots are so small. You could barely get in and out of your trailer. They're filled with dirt. There is no grass. Absolutely no grass. The front of your truck sticks out into the street because there's no room. The lots are so small. You could barely get in and out of your trailer. They're filled with dirt. There is no grass. Absolutely no grass. The front of your truck sticks out into the street because there's no room. The hookups are on the front of the assigned lot so unless you have long hoses and power lines, you'll never reach. Our lot had a leaking faucet that was non-stop and that ran down the entire campsite making a mud puddle through our entire time there the bathroom was broken. The toilet paper was always run out. Someone took a dump in the shower. It's a real nice place. The lots are backed up against the valley where there are privately owned homes. The owners have dogs that bark constantly from 6:00 in the morning till 10:00 at night non-stop barking. The place is filthy and there's long-term campers there that have piles of garbage behind their trailers. It looks like downtown Portland. Don't go there. Don't be fooled. Don't join their little thousand acre trail club. You'll be sorry. We will never go there again. The pool is open from 8:00 in the morning till 9:00 in the morning or from 9:00 in the morning till 10:00 in the morning. Whatever that's just for adults. Kids splash around in it all day long with tons of noise. The sewage hook up the lot next door to us was right outside our camper door about 10 ft away. The place is awful

This place. Where do I start? Reservations were double booked. But since we were already set up, WE were the ones who had to move. Whatever, we got a better spot than the one we were in. The "minigolf" they have setup here is just partially existant. There is nowhere to get clubs or golf balls from. Virtually no staff here. It is a gated resort, which I will admit is nice. It is a gated resort, which I will admit is nice. The bathroom/clubhouse on the north part of the park is "closed for repairs" this seems like a long term project on their end. Now I have to walk to the OTHER END. Overall, not bad...but not great. This place charges DOUBLE for a regular spot that the state parks charge half for. We wont be back, sorry.
