About Beverly Beach State Park

Beverly Beach State Park sits along one of Oregon's most dramatic stretches of coastline, offering RV travelers an exceptional blend of natural beauty and convenient camping amenities. Located just north of Newport, this 279-site park provides full hookup facilities that make extended stays comfortable and worry-free, while positioning you perfectly to explore the rugged Oregon Coast.

The park's location is genuinely special. You're nestled between towering sea cliffs and a sandy beach that stretches invitingly before you. The natural landscape here feels raw and authentic—this is the real Oregon Coast, not a polished resort version. Morning walks along the beach reveal tide pools teeming with starfish and anemones, and the sound of waves becomes the soundtrack to your entire stay. The beach access is direct and easy, making it perfect for families who want to spend their days exploring the shoreline and collecting shells.

What truly sets Beverly Beach apart is how it balances natural recreation with practical camping comfort. The full hookup sites mean you can settle in and relax without worrying about water or power concerns. The playground keeps younger visitors engaged, while picnic tables and fire rings create natural gathering spots for evening campfires where you can warm up after beach exploration.

Newport itself is just minutes away and offers genuine coastal charm. The Oregon Coast Aquarium, one of the region's premier attractions, sits nearby and provides an excellent rainy-day activity. The historic Yaquina Head Lighthouse offers panoramic ocean views and fascinating maritime history. Local restaurants serve fresh seafood, and the downtown area has character and authentic coastal culture.

The park's year-round operation means you can experience the Oregon Coast in any season. Spring brings migrating gray whales and wildflower blooms. Summer offers warm days perfect for beach time. Fall brings dramatic storms and moody beauty. Winter transforms the coast into a contemplative landscape with fewer crowds and powerful ocean swells.

This park appeals to families seeking beach access with reliable amenities, fishing enthusiasts wanting to pursue their hobby, pet owners who appreciate pet-friendly policies, and anyone drawn to genuine coastal scenery. Whether you're planning a week-long beach vacation or using it as a base for exploring the central Oregon Coast, Beverly Beach delivers.

I will always camp here! It’s so well kept and the staff is great. Firewood and other items are fairly cheap too. I got wood for $7 and a fire starter for $1. It does fill up quick and the site itself is a little pricy, but worth it. Make sure to schedule day of so you aren’t charged an extra $10.

We had a wonderful two night stay here with a clean campsite close to the beach access. Restrooms and water were close (we were in a tent site) as well as very clean (restrooms). Great campground to really feel the seclusion of camping without being too far out. Nice and dark. The woods make it feel secure and separate from your neighbors. Relatively flat. This is a beautiful state park. We camp here yearly, but it also has a day use area with a parking lot, flush toilets, and garbage cans. Highly recommend this park for families, or for anyone traveling the Oregon coast. It’s really a gem. If you’re camping, please check out the hiking trail. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful, easy beach access with large bathrooms. Dogs/pets allowed. Picnic areas and tables. For the campground, depends if it’s “full” or not if it’s going to be quiet or loud. For the campground, depends if it’s “full” or not if it’s going to be quiet or loud. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am. We were in our tents by 10:30 and it was excessively noisy until close to 11:30. Then it was peaceful. Until campers showed up at midnight right next to our site. They had to set up their tent, giggling and talking loudly, constantly opening and shutting their vehicles doors until 1:30 am. None of us slept more than an hour the one night we stayed. The camp itself is nice. They have a “welcome” station at the front which provides bundles of wood (as of Aug ‘25) for $7 and kindling (we brought our own). Also sale bags of ice for $7. Fred Meyer’s ice was $6, buy 1 get 1 so we did that. WalMart also sales bundles of wood. Again as of Aug ‘25 a bundle there was $8. Freddy’s was sold out so not sure price. Campground provides dump station for RV’s, also recycling and garbage bins. They sale newspapers, not sure which ones. And also a few “merch” items. They DON’T sale camp essentials like plastic silverware, paper plates, etc. We’ve had family camp here for nearly 30 years and despite some set backs (noisy campers here and there) the park itself and beach access are very nice.
