Campsites are VERY close to the beach with easy walking access. Facilities are clean and well kept. The hiking trails go through the camp so hiking is an easy option too. The only down side is that the campsites are fairly small.

Great campground with beautiful beaches. We rented a yurt for the weekend which was really great especially during the stormy nights. The campground host was really helpful and kind. It's a wonderful spot for a weekend getaway.

If you're looking for a private campsite this park has many more than I've ever seen! The beach is a short walk and its beautiful! I've stayed here about five times and highly recommend it! The only reason I gave it four, instead of five stars is due to the bathroom. Again, not the worst I've seen by any means but four stars it is, and it wouldn't stop me from returning. A great campground!

Went in mid February and the weather was great for that time of the year. Was pleasantly surprised to find sand dollars intact. The campground was clean and the staff were kind and helpful.

The beach itself is pretty spacious and so while there may be a lot of people, they aren't too close together. Many folks were using the bbq's to grill with charcoal and so it smelled additionally fantastic.

They were so close you could see them from the beach! We had a full hookup site for our trailer but there are a range of tent, RV and varying hookups available across the campground. Many of the camping sites had a great privacy hedge between the sites - felt like we had a little private garden of our own. Definitely a highlight of our trip down the Oregon coast!

Nice campground with clean bathrooms and showers. Easy beach access from all sites, you can hear the waves 24/7. I prefer C loop in the trees near the yurts and showers. Quiet and very dark at night.

One of the best campgrounds in Oregon with direct beach access. You can hear ocean sounds anywhere at the campground and in a way it acts as white noise during nights. Clean bathrooms. Best thing about this Showers with hot water. What else do you need. Definitely book way ahead for summer weekends. I love D loop spots since it’s provides partial sunny partial shade area

Cape Lookout has well equipped day use area. Some picnic tables are more accessible than others. There is plenty of parking. The bathrooms were well maintained. The path to the bathrooms is paved. Access to the water is down a dirt trail below the picnic area.

Beautiful beach and campground, natch. Lots of clean restrooms, trails, free car charging (with day use pass of course). Cabins really do have a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen sink, a fridge and grill as part of their set up, as well as each appear to have a lovely view of the water.
