This was a nice campground. We stayed here for a nearby family reunion and had a good experience. The staff was friendly, and the facilities were in good condition. We didn't spend a lot of time at the campground, but while we were there, it looked like there were a lot of fun activities for families.

You guessed it, I like it here. There are many seasonal lots here. The campground is large enough to accommodate nice sized lots. The electrical grid here has been upgraded. I have not experienced any problems in that area. Water pressure may vary by the number of campers at a time. Every weekend has an activity. Most feature a DJ or live band. A good time to socialize, if you want to. Quiet hour is at 11pm and is enforced. The fireworks show on the Fourth of July is the best. Most campers are friendly here. They smile or wave when you go by. The owners make themselves visible to you at most times. They are very responsive to your needs. You can see they want to make you happy here. It truly is a family affair. I love the location. It is close to Lake Erie, Eaton reservoir and Finally Lake. Within just a few miles are some of the finest wineries you can visit. You can enjoy fine dining while you enjoy the wine from local grapes. The town of North East truly is a historic treasure. It is a picture from a Hallmark movie.

First year as a seasonal camper, but we pulled a pop up and camped in the field many times last year! I grew up out there as a kid and Steve and Janet were always so welcoming! Now that Glenn, Michelle and their kids took over they too have made it very enjoyable and welcoming! My kids love the store and spending money on candy and slush puppies! 😂 Everyone I have had a conversation with all are... This place has HEAVY smokers! It seems like everytime we are there especially when a band is playing, its basically a toxic smoke fest. This campground basically encourages smoking bc its very smoker friendly with ash trays all over the place. I guess its okay if they want cancer but they shouldn't subject everyone else, including kids to it also. Owners could care less. We were trying to listen t... This place has HEAVY smokers! We were trying to listen to the band and threats physically burning from all the smokers everywhere. Use caution! Also this campground is VERY over crowded.

Beautiful campground in a great location. Within a couple miles of the interstate but far enough for peace and quiet. 50amp outlets in the one night pull through spaces is wired incorrectly and it took about ten minutes to convince the husband it was wrong. Couldn't be fixed last night. Determined 30amp was okay so we used it for the night.
