Let me start by saying that we visit this campground annually, the first weekend in October. There are 14 couples that meet here every year. The staff used to be super friendly but we all noticed a big change in their demeanor this year. Not sure what happened since our stay last year. A smile goes a long way but they wouldn’t even make eye contact! Our fist night a guy was collecting leaves along... The staff used to be super friendly but we all noticed a big change in their demeanor this year. Not sure what happened since our stay last year. A smile goes a long way but they wouldn’t even make eye contact! Our fist night a guy was collecting leaves along the sides of the roads throughout the campground and he blew a plume of dust into everyone’s campsite with no regard to us sitting there or vehicle windows being down etc. No care for anyone’s belongings at all! The campground itself is beautiful with many upgrades since last year! They were decorated for Halloween and it looked amazing. Hoping for a friendlier staff next year!

Friendship Village is our favorite campground to go to. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful if you should ever need it. Both camp stores have plenty of supplies if you need as well. Camper spots are a bit tight but have more than enough room for a great weekend. Booking online is easy and simple and allows you to pick the spot you want and has picture previews of each.

We asked a young female staff member about a veterans discount or Good Sam member discount at check in and we were told they don't do that. However, its posted on the GS app that they do. I had mixed feeling about how the staff treat customers. The sites are pretty tight together. With the slide out open, I felt like I was invading my fellow neighbors space. Fantastic and beautiful Gem!! It was Big Rig “friendly” but with strategy maneuvering to your spot. If you’re in the upper part in a big rig, stop at the Camp Store and walk it, I promise you won’t regret it. We didn’t use any of the amenities “WiFi, cable or store” but overall this place was absolutely WONDERFUL, it would be a destination place for sure!!
