I arrived at 10:30 AM on a late October Monday and almost had the place to myself. Beautiful serene lake. I walked a little on the trail behind and to the left of Beachside Pavilion. Lovely trail filled with ferns and lake views. I turned around at the picnic table for in and out of about .8 mile. I also sat at a bench at the lake enjoying the serenity and seeing/hearing the occasional fish.... I arrived at 10:30 AM on a late October Monday and almost had the place to myself. This place must get really crowded in the summer. There's a large parking lot that is empty at the moment, to my delight. 🤓. There are a few geocaches here too.
