Beautiful ScoutsBSA camp set in the wooded valley of a meandering creek. Deep with tradition and history that the Staff proudly carries each summer. Great place for off-season weekend camping as well. There is much to explore here - be sure to try out the hiking trails.

Camp Horseshoe feels like one of those places where history actually matters — not in a dusty way, but in how people show up and take pride in what they’re building. The camp itself is beautiful and well cared for, but what really stands out is the community. Programs are solid, expectations are clear, and campers are pushed just enough to grow without feeling overwhelmed. You see kids leave more confident than when they arrived, and that says a lot. Camp Horseshoe isn’t trying to impress anyone — it’s focused on doing things the right way. That’s what makes it special, and that’s why people keep coming back year after year.

This place holds memories for me and my sister's. My Dad went to camp here as a boy and made it to Eagle scout. He would take us here every summer in the 70s and 80s. He contributed his time to this camp until the day he died in 2009.

Scouts BSA Camp for trips of boys or girls, and packs, too. Even in the heat of summer, the scouts are working hard, having fun, learning and growing. Great experience for boys and girls!
