Nice, quiet campground. Mostly flat sites, all stone gravel except a few with concrete pads. More than 2/3 have decent shade throughout the day. Some have lake views being near boat launch. Some have lake views being near boat launch. Hookups are near each other. One shower/bathhouse in between both loops, one toilet building on one loop. Shower house has combo unisex stalls of toilets and showers. I wish the camp would change the locks so you can visibly see which stalls are in use (like those on portable-toilets). There is also a walking trail loop converted from a former campsite loop that’s mostly paved still. No camp store on site. Unfortunately you can’t swim on the lake here….and the motorboats can be a max of 20HP…. Good kayaking and fishing lake, definitely don’t come here if you expect to swim or do other water sports.

We were blessed to get a site with a lake view. The stay was very relaxing. Cellular signal strength was excellant. The restroom/showers were exceptionally clean. The park was quiet, the other campers were friendly. It is easy to see why it is usually difficult to find an open site at short notice.

Probably my wife's and my favorite PA state campground. Lots of breathing space between spots.

Great park, friendly, clean. Highly recommend and definitely going back. Ride a mile around the park or 12 to the spillway and back. Fish, boat and a nice beach to swim.
