Great campground on the water. Level & wide sites. Bathroom & laundry & grounds kept very neat & clean. Best of all is Emily, she took very good care of us while we had to wait for a new transmission to be shipped. 😁

We got one of the new sites along the water with a spectacular view. There isn’t a better site to see the sunset. This place is the quietest campground we’ve stayed at. Not many people out at all. Not many people out at all. The check in was easy as the host family saw us and checked us in. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. Sites are spacious and clean also. You don’t feel like you’re on top of the site next to you. Most people here are in bigger RVs and fifth wheels is we assume they stay inside. The only negatives we had is there is never anyone at the camp office so firewood is nearly impossible to get so I recommend bringing your own. The sites on the water are along the waking path with a fence dividing them. It’s fine, but just know the public and fisherman walk here and talk all day and night until 9pm when it’s locked. It’s not too crowded, but they’re here. Also, no one monitors the front gate so anyone can come in. While eating dinner 2 teens rode their motorcycles in her with loud music and did a loop then left. There isn’t anything for kids or recreation on the campground so be prepared if they’re used to a playground or something. None of these are deal breakers to me, it’s such a great place. Other than that, you can’t find a better place.

Awesome campground with wonderful views and great price per night! Lost a star because of what others have already said. The young guy working at the campground is extremely grumpy and does not want to talk to you. Don’t go to the office when he’s there.

I’ve stayed here several times and haven’t had a bad experience yet! It’s a great location off the beaten path along the bay. Secure, clean and quiet campground. Due to the weather, I had to switch sites. Aaron was so helpful with tips on sites for tent camping and was able to move me to a different site where my small tent would weather better. Highly recommend this campground!

We’ve been wanting to try new places and last year we scouted this place. We were given a tour by the manager and we were so impressed , we booked a spot for this year.(2025) We spent 8 days here after the 4th of July and I can say that it did not disappoint! We chose site #45 next to the canal/walkway….. Loved the view of the sunrises and sunsets, and watching all the boats pass by ….. At night around 9pm they close the main gate to the main entrance, but there’s another gate down at the other end of the campground that’s always open for access. The bathhouse was spotless. Very clean… Even durning the daytime the campground seems quiet as well, then again we were next to the inlet too so. But even so … we got the vibe that it feels like an over 55 place. There were children but not many. The people were friendly….There were a couple of days that were cool with no humidity and a nice breeze coming off the lake blowing in the window. I noticed that the sites don’t stay empty very long…. One leaves and a few hours later someone else has it. This place fills up fast! Truthfully we prefer the Forrest setting , but this was a very enjoyable vacation. We made reservations for next year….. was a nice change of pace.
