Great Cabins, Great Campground. We stayed in Cabin 13, a standard cabin up on the hillside. Standard cabin meant no bathroom, no kitchenette, no extra rooms, just a normal 1 room cabin. Standard cabin meant no bathroom, no kitchenette, no extra rooms, just a normal 1 room cabin. Hershey Highmeadow does have fancier cabins that offer some if not all of these amenities though, just make sure to book far in advance as they fill up quicker. Our lil cabin 13 was nice & cozy though. It had 1 full size bed & twin bunks, the lower of which was more then enough for grown woman. The cabin is equipped with a mini fridge and microwave that was enough for a full weekend of leftovers. The heater/ac was superpowered for such a small space so don't worry bout the cold. Cabin 13 is located a short stairway up from the bathhouse which was convenient for us but also meant we were tucked away from everyone else nicely. The bathhouse for these sets of cabins & sites was both clean & large. The facilities were cleaned daily. Plus the showers inside were numerous, hot, & with good pressure. The cabins exterior had plenty of room for our nightly fires with all our chairs & even had nice lil porch to sit out on to watch the sunset. The free shuttle to HerhseyPark was great as it meant avoiding all the hassle of parking & instead getting dropped off right at the front gate of the park. If your looking for a cheaper alternative to the pricer hotel hershey/lodge or just want a great campground in the Hershey area then you cant go wrong with Hershey Highmeadow.

I was so happy that Hershey had a winter camping area. It was our first winter camping experience and it was wonderful. The camping resort is so close to Hershey Park too. Extremely convenient! My only suggestion is that the resort offers shuttles for chocolate world. We were lucky to have made it on time to our event at chocolate world using an Uber after realizing there was no shuttle running there.

The campsite were tiny and so close together. Our rent was surrounded by RVs. The worst part was the trains! I loved the Halloween themed activities they had for the kids and there were nice playgrounds.
