Fantastic state park with lots of amazing views & hikes available. There are some flat hikes or some rougher terrain hikes. Lots of water views to check out. There are cute little shops near the visitor center. You can walk to many spots or you can drive to the best areas.

We rode bikes from Ohiopyle State Park all the way to Confluence — it’s truly heaven on earth in the fall. The colours, the air, the peaceful river views… pictures can tell the story better than words. We went on a weekday, so it was wonderfully quiet with very few people around. Absolutely beautiful and serene

Nice campground with decent restrooms and showers. I liked the self serve firewood area with kindling that you can purchase there. The campground was almost full, but our campsite was wooded and spacious. The parks waterfalls and rapids are beautiful.

We stayed in the Locust Loop - 257. Nice large site, plenty of privacy. Nice open area, new full hook ups, pets permitted. No shade bc it’s so new. No bath house in loop. Closest one is walkable but needs updated. If headed to this campground be aware the main road is very steep and windy. There is an alternative but it adds several miles.

Overall a good experience. We had a nice campsite in Cherry area (We have a pop-up and use 30 amp service.) Things we didn't like: Inconsiderate and loud neighbors - loud music and talking/singing past midnight. No camp host to monitor shenanigans Really loud train blowing horn several times late - approx 12 midnight, 2 am and 4 am. Dogs barking late and early, I guess people get up at 7 am, head out and leave their barking dog outside. Folks, if your dogs are gonna bark all day - leave them at home(nobody thinks it's cute.) Not a lot of shopping around for last minute needs/supplies. Things we liked: Showers were a little dated but water was hot and forceful So much to do in the area, rafting, hiking/biking etc Trails were well marked Cucumber and cascade falls are gorgeous. Wilderness Voyagers were great to do a rafting trip with. Beautiful scenery! Nice little playground if you have kiddos Ice and firewood at the entrance of campground if you need or run out.
