Presque Park is hands down stunning. I went in the winter and the icey beach/bay is magical. There's tons of trails for walking and biking, but the views are a must. The multi park and drive stops are very well organized and easy to follow - don't bust 25 mph too much or they will getcha. This state park is beautiful and you must see it to truly visit Erie. It's also 100% free.

Presque Isle was magnificent! I’m sure it’s super packed on the summer, but ours was a fall visit and while it was busy, it was not too bad! Great foot and bike paths. Lots of beach area, the water was great and the lighthouse didn’t disappoint even though it was closed. This was recommended from a friend and I’m so glad we went! Definitely worth the trip if you are within an hour or two drive. Presque Isle was magnificent! I suggest everyone go! Beautiful views, nice beaches, clean, and a lot of areas for parking and easy access. Nice drive, beautiful fall colors, and lots of small things to do. Playgrounds, bathrooms, and parking all year. We were able to get out and in easily. Found lots of seashells and my littles had a blast. Take extra clothes, kids don't care if its cold!

This is seriously one of those places you visit and cznt wait to come too. Super safe, there's always rangers/ law enforcement driving around. Clean, with lots of garbage cans and restroom areas. I grew up around Lake Erie and I still get pleasantly surprised at how clear the water is at these beaches. Great place to grab Primanti Brothers and spend the afternoon.

I spent time biking the loop trail, relaxing on the beach, and exploring some of the quieter nature areas. Even with other visitors around, it never felt crowded, and there were plenty of spots to enjoy the view in peace.

We love this campground. It was our second time staying here and our first time (and last) in the Landshark (the houseboat). We will be back next summer, probably at one of the deluxe cabins. We also appreciate that they are pet-friendly!

However, we were dismayed by a few things: the condition of the tub/shower (VERY deep tub so inaccessible w/o help for my adult daughter who is small and has coordination issues; also, despite bathing quickly, we both had at least 1 freezing cold shower during our stay; finally, the poorly installed shower offered more of a mist than a true shower); the tv was not connected to cable so had very limited stations. Overall, the Apartment worked well for us and could easily accommodate a much larger group.

You will need to bring your own bath towels and bed linen! Firepits are in the back of the spots, which was really nice, so I felt like we had some privacy..The resort is quiet, and well maintained, and I was glad we could take the dog walking around at any time. There is a store where the office is, and they sell everything and anything you could need for camping, rv's, tons of little souvenirs, and some grocery items. Another convenience we enjoyed. There is a pool, and even a laundry mat if needed. We plan on making this trip a tradition for our family, as we enjoy going to the beach, and wanted somewhere comfortable to stay with our puppy. Presque Isle Park is about 20 minutes away depending on traffic. Thank you so much for making our mini vacation one to remember! See you next year!

Lovely camping experience. Our pull thru site was very large and fairly well groomed although not level. Staff friendly. Pool small but very nice. Office well stocked. Only blemish was laundry which wasn't very clean or well maintained. Washers, specifically, were grubby.
