Elmwood Campground

Definitely off the beaten path, 4 miles i think to the highway. Very primitive with only a spigot for container or rv and clean, nonlighted vault outhouse. Plenty of spaces- its pretty much park where you want and no grills, fire pits or tables. Dig your own fire pit. No electricity, but hey! Its easily accessible, free, and clean. Great place to walk, jog, bike. We got cell service here with ATT. There is a vault toilet and water spigots for drinking water. You come down a paved road and it ends in dirt, then there's a left turn and the road starts to look scary. Especially when you get to the right turn, but our 40 foot Class A Towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee made it fine without any issue at all. No low-hanging branche, just a 10 thumbs up experience here. Highly recommended!
