Overall, the cabin itself was nice, but we did experience several issues during our stay. Saturday morning, the can opener didn’t work, although they did promptly bring us a brand-new one, which we appreciated. However, when we tried to cook breakfast, the stove wouldn’t heat properly. We ended up throwing our eggs away because they wouldn’t cook. Maintenance did arrive about 20 minutes later and explained that the stove knobs are reversed. On most stoves, “1” would be low, but on this stove, “1” is actually high. There is no clear temperature control labeling, which made it very confusing. The heat in the cabin also wouldn’t kick on, even though it was set at 70 degrees and it was 40 degrees outside. We were told you have to turn it up to 80 or 90 for it to come on. Additionally, when looking up into the stove vent, it appeared dirty. I felt like I had to cover the food while cooking because I was concerned debris might fall into it. The cabin was nice overall, but the appliances definitely need to be upgraded, especially the stove. Because of these issues, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Kudos to the activity employees. My cabin was fully stocked and clean and we had wonderful family time with all the Halloween activities they had for the children and the Halloween carnival was awesome and the haunted hayride the free lunch at the carnival was a nice touch. We will make this an annual family vacation I look forward to next year. Great job KOA We all had a blast Thank you.

This KOA did not tell us before we got there that they no longer provide cable or wifi. The laundry facility was nasty, the trash was overflowing, and the lint traps were full, the washing machines were covered in dog hair and coach roaches. The laundry facility was nasty, the trash was overflowing, and the lint traps were full, the washing machines were covered in dog hair and coach roaches. We stayed at a deluxe spot 120/night the spot was not clean or maintained. Unsupervised children running and screaming thru our campsite at all hours of the day and particularly at night. The security is nonexistent. I found that some of the staff was very invasive, rude and vindictive. We have been to a few KOAs, and had a really good time. However, this one was the worst. If you can afford it avoid this place. There are several campgrounds in the area to chose from. We moved to a resort style campground that was expensive. However, it was a few miles away and so far its been OUTSTANDING!!

These things are totally subjective to a person's beliefs and what they're world view is. I'd normally give 5 stars anytime I've ever stayed at KOA. Its always clean the staff is always great their pool, splash pad and bounce pillow thing, nightly programs are great and we've enjoyed all of their things they do for the campers and we've been many times over the course of 20 years its our family go... The Halloween decor was over the top. I don't celebrate this holiday and I know most do but my goodness. I will camp somewhere else during this time of year from now on.

Don’t expect a modern & clean KOA Campground. We found it lacking in many things. Both showers and bathrooms stink like mold and have not been updated in decades. No shower curtains so the floor gets wet. Lawns are in terrible shape. Pool & hot tub are closed in winter. Same with the pool restaurant. Our wood picnic table was broken, splintered and had rotted so badly there were mushrooms growing... Don’t expect a modern & clean KOA Campground. We found it lacking in many things. We paid $85 in November when this whole area is actually in off season.
