My husband learned a lot in the 2day course. We enjoyed the beach, park and it's many amenities. Since it was off season the pool/water park was closed but it looked massive and nice. I can't imagine the noise and busy time here tho. We rented a golf cart to explore the park and our Maltese enjoyed riding around so much, seeing all the many holes and decorations it's a HUGE park. We were very impressed with the staff, how well it was cared for and really enjoyed ourselves. Food was great, coffee house was good and the arcade games were fun. Highly recommend checking it out, spaces are tight but the beach was steps away so it's worth it IMHO. 😁 Our dog loves running on the beach and chasing her ball, if no other dogs are around we let her run off leash, we had a fabulous time here!! There is a dog park, and the staff were always pleasant. There was also a color run event for their employees that was fun to watch. This park has it all!!

I really enjoyed this campground. We stayed here at the beginning of Oct when a hurricane was almost coming. Needless to say we had the beach all to ourself. The next weekend when the weather was nicer the beach was fuller, we walked north and Oceans lakes is a much nicer beach. Loved the campground. The bathrooms are solidly clean. We used the laundry may, also nice. It pretty much has everything... I really enjoyed this campground. We stayed here at the beginning of Oct when a hurricane was almost coming. My campsite was fine. Its nice being near the beach. There is no parking at bathhouse except for golf carts. No handicapped parking. And then the bathhouse closest to me was closed. And then the bathhouse closest to me was closed. Saturday after Thanksgiving I parked at the rec center in my van (small enough to fit in a single space,) in the morning to go to the tree decorating and ugly sweater contest. I then spent time at the arcade and slowly walked to the Sandy Mart and Cafe to buy some snacks and souvenirs. I was really having fun. I went back to my van for a few minutes to put my souvenirs away, and eat my snack before watching Santa arrive. Having a disability it's important for me to stay fairly close to my van. My campsite was on the other end. I was approached by an employee on my way back into the center. He said "this isn't public parking, you can't stay here all day" (my campground placard was on my mirror along with my handicapped sign on the windshield) I said "I've been enjoying the festivities, I'm traveling alone and this is making me less homesick" He said " you can't stay here all day the parking lot is going to be busy later" My happy mood was killed. My plan was to watch Santa arrive, go swim in the heated pool for a few hours and then stay for the holiday dance party. I wanted to take advantage of everything offered. He made me feel so uncomfortable parking there, I left at 3:0O and went back to my campsite. I splurged on staying at the resort, not easy on my fixed low Social Security. I was just trying to fight holiday loneliness but I didn't feel welcome.

This campground is massive. The rows of houses are endless. The facilities are in good condition and clean. At least of those that we could use. The facilities are in good condition and clean. At least of those that we could use. The lack of communication was definitely the let down of our stay. Upon arrival we found out that the meat n eat and the sandy mart would be closed for maintenance. Understandable as we are here in the slow season. The morning after check-in we went to checkout the indoor and outdoor pools only to find closed signs with no notice or information. The staff in the area didn't seem to know any timelines. An email was sent out later that evening informing us Pools and Mini Golf would be closed for the remainder of our stay along with the rest of the other closed amenities. I understand maintenance needs to happen during downtimes but the lack of notice and communication certainly left our stay in the disappointing category.
