Booked over the phone and by the time we got in late, this campground was riddled with problems. (Carefully look at the pictures)The manager sent over a gentleman to collect our $45 for the 50 amp FHU with WiFi, shower and bathroom house available. They needed cash because their square didn’t work. (He did provide a receipt). Instructed to pick any site. The pull through sites bordering trees were not pruned. Picked the best option and got a nice cedar wash entering the site. Got set up and plugged into power when the ground was open and one leg was intermittent. To correct it we had to get power from the next site over. Decided to use the fire pit and it was filled with dangerous trash. Plate glass, metal parts are some of the things I cleaned out of the pit. Went inside to take care of some business and there was no internet as promised. Too late to call the office, just wrote this place off as ‘never again.’ In fairness, my Wife would like to state that at one time this might have been a nice campground and possibly the owners are unable to care for it anymore.

Stayed there overnight. I would stay there again. It is far from being a well pruned resort campground but the owners (I think it was a family) were real people. I prefer to patronize small businesses like this one.

We ran into truck problems while traveling and needed to drop the camper somewhere until we could patch up the truck. He hung out while we set up just to chat and gave us some leads for a tow if needed. Site was pretty level. Full hookup. Only $35 for the night, so extremely reasonable. I stayed at the campground while my husband went to fix the truck. I could hear the highway sounds from semis passing through during the day, but not at night. Campground was fairly empty, but it is the off season. It made it pretty calm and peaceful. Definitely an older facility. Located behind a motel. Office is in a garage/barn but there is a doorbell and the owner answers right away. He didn't charge me for a second night even though we got back on the road at almost 2pm the next day. Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling through. It is close to Wall Drug and the Badlands.

Nice, quiet, shady, easy to get to spot. The owners were great! Met us as we pulled in off the interstate without a reservation late in the evening. Very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit there again!

Long pull through sites big enough for camper and 2 vehicles made it convenient to keep everything together. Showers were nice. There really isn't an "office" to go into so we called when we got here and she came out. They are very friendly and helpful.
