Great location. Upkeep and management suffers. Very friendly staff. Full dumpster first 2 days. Laundry out of order 5 days. Weak water pressure. Hit and miss wifi. Really nice lots. Peaceful evenings. Super prices. Could stand more attention to detail. Would visit again if nothing else was available in this area. Close to Lead and Deadwood right off hwy 385. Somewhat level gravel pads. Nice Creek... Great location. Upkeep and management suffers. Very friendly staff. Full dumpster first 2 days. Laundry out of order 5 days. Weak water pressure. They have a natural stream, in middle of everything you might hope to experience. The lodging has always been superior to other locations in the Hills I’ve tried. They are very pet friendly which is my indication to believe good people own / operate. Let me tell you about their Bacon Cheeseburgers , simply said, this was without par the absolute most delicious burger I’ve had in perhaps 30 years and I live here in hills for past 20 years ( Navy retirement, I’m a respectful transplant from east coast) the bar is inviting as well as the dining areas which are both inside and on outside surrounding surface of fantastic patio ( covered) The staff know exactly what they are doing and are fully committed to helping you truly enjoy this awesome experience. I truly encourage everyone to at least get the best burger anywhere in country. I want to go back already.

Having just returned from our group motorcycle excursion to the Black Hills, I can confidently say Wild Bill’s Campground exceeded our expectations. Strategically located just minutes from Deadwood, the campground also provided convenient access to numerous scenic day‐trip destinations throughout the region. Strategically located just minutes from Deadwood, the campground also provided convenient access to numerous scenic day‐trip destinations throughout the region. We chose to tent in the meadow area, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. Each site featured lush, soft grass—far more comfortable than traditional gravel pads—and sat alongside a gently flowing creek, creating an idyllic atmosphere. The entire staff was exceptionally accommodating, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and well‐cared for. We look forward to making Wild Bill’s our go-to base camp on future trips to the Black Hills.

It was such a pleasure meeting him and getting the opportunity to stay at his campground. We first stayed at tent sites for a cpl nights and a cabin in the back the last night! We met Matthew otw out and he was also so kind and friendly! This campground is biker friendly! 1,600 ACRES of trails for ATVS/SIDE BY SIDES!!! They have a salon/grill right up front where you turn into the campground as well. Prices are super reasonable for food there! THE CABINS ARE SO NICE!!! Very clean, comfortable beds! With nice clean Showers. A plentiful amount of Towels! Which is ssoo nice bc hotels seem to only give you like 2! lol! The campground is pretty massive! THE BATHROOM FACILITIES ARE SM BETTER THAN YOUR TYPICAL CAMPGROUND. LADIES THERE ARE NICE SHOWERS IN THE PUBLIC BATHHOUSE. -WITH- an extra stall to change before you jump in the shower. I believe there were 4 toilets and 4 showers in the ladies side. Tons of Tent sites. Tons of RV sites. There are many areas to put your ever if you’d like to be over on one side of the campground or the other it’s your choice! There is a fresh water spring that runs through the campground. If you’re tent ⛺️ camping 🏕️ you can hear it at night. It’s a very peaceful campground! We will be returning next month for bike week.

I had stayed here 34- 39 years ago during the rallies. Much has changed. The bar and restaurant are good. I don't drink but Taylor was friendly and energetic. Great service. They made the chicken wings extra hot for me. Good location, easy booking but a little confusing on which cabins offered what. A floor plan and list for each would be nice. Yes, I'd stay here again. Knowing now what to expect.
