Lovely waterfront park with plenty of shade from the many trees. Lots of picnic tables scattered about with plenty of distance between them. Clean restrooms, too. Nice view of the shoreline of Old Hickory Lake. Couldn't walk to the dam from the park.

Park has been closed since the December 2023 tornado. Boat ramp has been opened to the public since Summer 2024. Clean up of the tornado damage started 2 months ago and as of now the park is basically a clean slate. All pavilions have been removed as well as damaged restrooms and plans underway to commence rebuilding the park. For those that had previously been to the park it will be much different after the construction. Major tree damage so what was once forest like is now sparsely treed. The pavilion 2 area at the point still has plenty of trees. Some structures have disappeared permanently which will be an improvement. The newer bathroom near the boat ramp (formally pavilion 4) will remain as well as the bathroom that was located at the pavilion 2 parking lot.

We love it here! We bring kayaks and enjoy the easy drop-ins and wake from the boats. Restrooms are even relatively clean for a park! Love that there are grills and other accommodations.

When my kids were young we would go there a lot, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They liked going for breakfast the most I would take everything and cook three even biscuits. We would go after school, all year round really,my son Chickie was eating a taco once and a big goose came up and took it right out of his hands,he was about four at the time, made him so mad. We started bringing bird seed to give to them. Just a few of my favorite memories of this park🙂❤️💗got more with my grandkids too❤️💗🙂 fall is the best💗☺️ so go visit have fun and just watch and listen and relax. Hope you enjoyed this Carol

Great little free launch. Wide enough to launch 3 wide. 2 docks to tie up on, plenty of trees for shade and hanging a hammock. Cement picnic tables and restroom is 100 yard walk. Parking was sufficient.
