This state park is amazing! Their is a north south east and west side. We went to the north we hiked to the lookout what a beautiful view! It also has a stone door which is a boulder that is cracked and you walk through as you go down the stairs. They also have camping their and their is a visitor center. The map from the visitors center is detailed & clear. The park is clean & well maintained. We loved it so much we came back the next wkend bc we missed a waterfall even after 17 mi of hiking over 2 days & camped a night. All of the staff were super friendly & very helpful. Some places are very accessible, others are for experienced hikers. Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful state park! It may be my favorite. Warning to others: know your limit, wear good hiking shoes, pack some basic emergency supplies & a laminated map, stop by the visitor center for helpful info of where to go based on your interest & hiking ability, show up early. Cell service is spotty & doesn’t work when you go in the gulf. Don’t rely on your phone to get you places solely. There are snakes (back away & leave them alone) & hornets/bees etc. keep any food & drink in a closed ziplock. Enjoy your time. It’s a beautiful place!

Beautiful but very slippery. I fell on the very large rock, about 10 ft. It should have warnings. I'm an avid hiker. I don't fall often. Don't step on the big rock and you should be fine. Go left at the bottom and be careful!
