We’ve camped at Timber Ridge several times. We love the neighborhood trails that are available behind camp for a little less “rough” riding (great for kids!). Big South Fork trails are just across the street, with more miles than you can imagine. Hippy Cave is a favorite easy short ride over there. We like that Timber Ridge offers turnout or stalls, depending on your needs. Also, little minimalist... We’ve camped at Timber Ridge several times. We like that Timber Ridge offers turnout or stalls, depending on your needs. Also, little minimalistic cabins are available too. Campsites are a little close together and neighbors can be noisy, but bathrooms and common areas with seating are nice. There is also a basic kitchen available for use in the common area. Cozy place with plenty of great riding trails!

We stayed in Lucy Cabin. The cabin was spareand had beds with plastic covered mattress, (bring a mattress pad), mini fridge, microwave, heater and air conditioner. The stalls were fine, rubber matted. The location was good for probably two days of riding without repeating your ride. We were very near Hippy Cave; a very popular scenic attraction. Susan was very helpful in giving direction to trails... We stayed in Lucy Cabin. Susan was very helpful in giving direction to trails in the area. I was very unhappy to hear on my arrival that they wanted $8 more and then the next day it was $9. I guess I signed on to they can change their rates and you must pay them more money. I will not be back.

Susan and Eric, owners since Agust 2019 are amazing! We were met at the office by Eric, who CLEANED OUT OUR HORSE TRAILER, after we unloaded our three horses. WHO does that??!! Never in 30 years of horse camping has this been done! What a pleasant experience. It is a courtesy that helps horse travelers get settled quicker, feeding and caring for their animals. Some may have been on the road... Some may have been on the road all day. The barn and stalls are very sturdy and well built. Good lighting on timers in case one forgot to turn them off was awesome. Remodeled bathrooms had plenty of hot water, showers, and toilets. We did not get a chance to use their party center, but hope to next time. The drive-through campsite was large and level. Each site had a fire ring, picnic table, water, and electricity. The trails are plentiful, wide, and clean with beautiful scenery and blessed quiet! They have easy grades and even beginner riders can do them. The maps are precise and trails are well marked. There is NO way to get lost! Big South Fork trails are across the street and are a little more challenging and awesome! They fill up almost a year in advance for October. We were so impressed, we are coming again next October and have already reserved 5 sites for us and our riding friends. We have been here 4 days and WISH we could stay longer! Do yourself a favor and visit them! *picture one: Eric & Susan (right) greeting a new camper and cleaning out their trailer!.

Timber Ridge is my new favorite place to camp with my horse! The barn, stalls and bathhouse were well maintained and very clean. We stayed in Lucy's cabin which was quaint but also very clean and comfortable. The trails were rode were AMAZING and we barely scratched the surface! To top it off Eric and Susan were as kind and helpful as could be, we will definitely be back!
