We had a fantastic stay at Henry Horton Campground! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with how well-maintained everything was. The campsites are nicely spaced out, giving a real sense of privacy and peace, and the mature trees provide plenty of shade, making it perfect for relaxing... We had a fantastic stay at Henry Horton Campground! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with how well-maintained everything was. The bathrooms were spotless—cleaned regularly and stocked, which made our stay so much more comfortable. The campsites are nicely spaced out, giving a real sense of privacy and peace, and the mature trees provide plenty of shade, making it perfect for relaxing during hot afternoons. It really feels like you're tucked into nature without being too far from conveniences. What stood out the most was the friendly and helpful camp hosts and staff. They were always around with a smile, ready to answer questions, give local tips, or just share a friendly chat. It's clear they take pride in keeping the campground welcoming and running smoothly. If you’re looking for a well-kept, peaceful place to camp in Tennessee, Henry Horton is a gem. We’re already planning our next visit!

Beautiful! I saw so much cool wildlife out here. My first time in Tennessee from LA. A beautiful deer was right next to our campsite. I also saw maybe the biggest spider I’ve ever seen. Cowboy camping not recommended 😅

Lots of fun things to do. Very clean. We stayed in the hammock camping area and it was very peaceful and serene. They had a Food truck and live entertainment. Very nice place with padded sites for Rv's and electric

This is one of the best State Parks I have been to. The park is huge. It is kept very clean. There are many ways to access the river. Plenty of green grass for a picnic. Nice walking trails. Many grills for cooking. Several pavilions with benches and a center for having fires at night.
