We stayed one night on a long haul. The Host was extremely friendly, gracious and easy to deal with. A lovely, tidy little park with nice grass pull through sites and a pretty view. This is a sweet mom & pop stop. Not corporate. Hope to stay here again.

I've lived for 5 years and David Lair that owns the park is such a good man. He has horses, a pond, beautiful views in the spring and fall. Most of the people that live out here are older people. I love it out here. I would recommend this RV PARK at 2500 State Hwy N 155 Palestine Texas 75803. David Lair past away on October 30th. His best friend Cary owns and is over the park. Older people live here and it's peaceful. No one ever bothers you out here.

I have ZERO idea how this park is so highly rated. Let's start with the pros: The park was nice enough for a quick overnight stay. The top section of the park, and most of the bottom level was filled with permanent residents, although I don't mind that. There were 3-5 spots that the owner leaves open for travelers. The residents were very friendly. The park was clean, although pretty bare bones... I have ZERO idea how this park is so highly rated. The residents were very friendly. The park was clean, although pretty bare bones, but well kept. Cons: the owner is a straight up jerk. We stayed for 3 days and the owner harassed us for no reason. We have been all over traveling for my husband's work and have never encountered someone so rude, evasive, and nosy. My husband made a wrong turn into his driveway once and he followed us back to our campsite and YELLED obscenities at us including the F word. He followed me to the dumpster the following day asking me what I was doing. When I said "throwing the trash away?" He grunted and drove away in his golf cart. We also travel with our mini pig, who is always on a harness and a leash, and NEVER left unattended, and we of course ALWAYS pick up after her. She was in our campsite and here he comes in his golf cart screaming obscenities at us again that he doesn't want "critters" running around his park. We have never had an issue because we are responsible pet owners, and I double checked his park policy to be sure they allowed pets. Not only did he allow pets, they have several dog runs on the property. He was so rude, and honestly I was afraid to leave our brand new camper there because of his odd behavior. I would not stay here again under any circumstances.
