First impressions I was Kind of underwhelmed, compared to much nicer pictures I've seen. Economical prices $35. Sites are long and very level. Place needs a little maintenance. Noticed little things needing repairs everywhere. Appears you pay to shower. Pool is just 3 foot, hot tub was OOO at time. Theater is novel idea. Some street noise at night but not too bad. Some street noise at night but not too bad. Seemed to be a lot of long term renters. They mandate you sign a waiver that arrives email after check in. One item was don't leave trash at site or your charged $50_ walking around noticed little pieces of trash everywhere (??) Maybe an attempt to clean up. Store was closed but didn't have much anyway. Wanted to stay longer but 2 days was good enough. Headed to Renaissance fair.

Loved this park! The staff couldn’t be nicer and helpful. The accommodations were amazing! Huge pool, game room, theater, pickle ball, basketball, horse shoes and more I’m probably forgetting. Go today and they’ll make you feel like family! 100% returning

I can’t say enough about the amazing staff at Blue Sky. This is the second year our camping group has gathered at Blue Sky for a spring rally. Tonya, Jade, Alexis and Kristen went above and beyond to make sure our weekend was filled with fun activities. Their attention to detail and dedication to our group was top notch! Can’t wait to do it again!

We stayed here during the long Thanksgiving weekend. Maybe just the time of year, but seemed to be some clean-up and maintenance needed to be done around the park. Maybe just the time of year, but seemed to be some clean-up and maintenance needed to be done around the park. Our neighbors, who were staying there long term, said the park experiences power surges and he showed us his fried surge protector. He said they had just fixed the 50amp on our pedestal. When we checked in, they did move us to a different site than what I had reserved, which was a good thing. They said where we were going to be was along the main entrance/exit, so not so swell if you have kids. Which I do appreciate they did that for us. Ended up being a good site. We had a level concrete site that was a "shorter" one, but still accommodated our 37" camper with plenty of room to still park our truck. Good amenities for families to enjoy - pickleball and basketball courts, a clubhouse that was filled with board games, a pool table and ping pong table, and a "movie theater" (movie theater seating with a large screen tv). Since it was cold, of course didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. There is a creek and a pond, but don't think any fish are in there, we tried. The camp store was closed the entire time we were there (Wed-Sun) but it didn't appear they had hardly anything in there any way. Brookshire's is just around the corner, as well as a Family Dollar and Wal-Mart maybe 5 mins down the road for anything you need. The clubhouse and bathroom/shower facilities were kept clean the entire time (saw the cleaning people several times). It was weird though, there is a quarter machine in the showers, so I guess you have to pay to take a shower. They do have a water and ice machine that is accessible 24/7, so didn't have to run down to the grocery store for more bottled water or ice. Next door is a pretty cool place which used to be Cedar Creek Brewery, but is now Plowboy's Club (family friendly up until later in the evening, then turns into a western dance hall). It was worth the 20 minute drive over to Purtis Creek State Park for some nature trails and fishing. Walking around the rv park, it appears to be a lot of long term rv's (looks like quite a few live there full time). The main entrance/exit needs some TLC...pretty steep and narrow. Just a general spruce up and it would be a 5 star review. But all in all - Would come back again.

We spent a week over New Years here. The park was clean, clean bathrooms & showers. We had 18 friends & utilized their entertainment room for meals & cards. Great facility. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful. Great firepit areas. Pool, tennis couts, pickleball. Highly recommend.
