Nothing in walking distance, not even the lake. Feels like you're in the middle of farm country.

A little too active on the weekend evening for my taste but suppose this comes with the nearly in town location. Enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we need a place in NE Dallas.

Lake Ray Hubbard rv resort is a nice little place to stay while in the Dallas area. Rates are average and fair. The place seems to be pretty well run and taken care of. We needed a place to park while our daughter is having surgery and we are very happy we found this place. Checkin in was very pleasant and they were very helpful on the phone when we called. Very conveniently located to about anything you want to do. We will stay here again in the future if we need a place to stay.

I highly recommend this place to stay if you are in the area. We have traveled through 4 states over the past 2 months and have stayed at a good handful of places. This was one of the best stop offs. The facilities were wonderful, I really enjoyed having the community space with the gym while the weather turned. Nice, clean and very welcoming. The grounds were great and there was enough space to walk around with our dogs and enjoy. It was close enough to towns and the city but far enough where we could breathe and relax. I really liked the town Rowlett and there were some nice trails to walk around close by. Good spot to stay for a week glad we traveled here.
