Karnack is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

Campsite and bathrooms were VERY clean. Hosts were nice and helpful. Fishing was good in the lake and the spillway. Beautiful spot all around.

Nice quiet Corps Park. Several full hookups with long paved driveways for long RV or 5th wheel including truck. Lakeside RV spots are a little shorter and no sewer. Large tent area with some on the lakeside. Found another tent only part of the park with bathroom. Boat ramp with dock that includes a place to put int and receive a canoe. Great sunsets. No store. No close trails.

A fantastic family place to camp and fishing! We stayed one night reservation was online $18 per night Staff is great and camp ground is beautiful. We had a blast. The only thing I didn't like was bathroom but over all It has a magical lake view and we definitely will be back.

We have been staying in this campground for many years during the Big Bass Bonanza. The past two years we have been very disappointed in the appearance. This year our family had 4 sites and the grass was so tall we couldn't walk between them without being worried about snakes and chiggers.

Nice campground if it was maintained. A friend brought us a weed eater so we could make a pathway between our 3 sites. No monitoring of vehicles coming or going and never saw a Park Ranger.
