Made an online reservation at this park. When we arrived somebody was already in our site. Called the number and was told I could take the last remaining site even though it was reserved for someone else. That person never showed so we were fine but I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re desperate. Hookups were fine, otherwise no amenities, about what you’d expect for $35

Told her that the spot she assigned us was occupied and we had found another one that was the same price. This park evidently has new owners. He doesn't look anything like the pictures, very run down and nobody on site. Would not recommend this park even for a overnight stay.

The good: stable power, good water pressure, sewer. Nice public park across the street. Unfortunately, the sewer and water are right next to each other, and since the water is underground, it's difficult to get it hooked up. It also may not be very sanitary. Then, there's the smell of petroleum gasses. Finally, the train is very close and blasts its horn day and night. Bring ear plugs and Vick... The good: stable power, good water pressure, sewer. If you have pets, know that there will be big dogs off leash.

What a great place for getting in, setting up, and getting gone while traveling. Kate, made us feel safe, and welcome when we spoke with her. There are train tracks at the edge of the park that we were first concerned about like a "My Cousin Vinny" scene. Two trains came through but it was not anything like in a movie, it was quick, and fun to hear it wiz by. Best money we have spent this trip so...
