Bridgeport is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.
Texas weather can change quickly. Pack layers and check the forecast for Bridgeport.
Don't miss local attractions near Bridgeport. Ask the camp host for hidden gems and trails.

Interesting location with river access (water was kinda scummy, but that's not on them) but basically NO SERVICE. No real directions when you arrive, trash/junk boats all over the place, unlevel campspots, so don't try a campervan without jacks. The bathrooms are pretty nasty, nothing drains correctly, the hosts were unreachable, which we found out after being accosted by hobos who skateboarded to... The bathrooms are pretty nasty, nothing drains correctly, the hosts were unreachable, which we found out after being accosted by hobos who skateboarded to their campsite. Came by bugging us for beer and cigarettes at 9am. We have planned to stay for multiple nights and left after one.

Good spot to launch your water craft and paddle down river. The folks at Spencer's will follow you in your car to staples dam and take you back to do your paddle for a small fee. Really good when you dont have 2 cars and need a shuttle.

Horrible nasty bathrooms. Trash at campsites. In the couple of places you can actually get into river, trash everywhere from trashy people who don't care . Still should be cleaned up by owners. Could only shuttle 2 people at a time. Put in for kayaking sucks.

The owner was very accommodating and very welcoming! It was my first time visiting and wasnt sure how to go about renting kayaks but he made the process seemless! I paid $35 per kayak and the trip itself is about 3 miles long give or take. I cannot emphasize this enough: BRING LOTS OF WATER!!!! Since it was my first time, I didnt realize how long the trip was but I warned you! It is excellent for... The owner was very accommodating and very welcoming! It has a few baby rapids in the begining but is smooth sailing from there! We saw some cows along the river too!

Jack was very very nice and helpful! I spoke to him on the phone and in person a few times to get information on their place and fees since they don’t have a website. He was very kind and friendly. The river was running slow so it took us 4 hrs with paddling the majority of the way. $35 for single kayaks and I think $70 for tandem. Camping and restrooms were temporarily closed due to COVID but it... Jack was very very nice and helpful! Camping and restrooms were temporarily closed due to COVID but it would be a nice quiet place one it’s fully open. Great location and lots of shade. This is not a fancy 5star commercial location. It’s a mom n pop (actually mom n son) place that is convenient with nice people.

The airstream we stayed in was well equipped and well maintained. There was a learning curve understanding the air conditioning system. However, once we got it down it was a blessing. It was great to have AC and the ability to take a warm shower. The hosts Greg and Tammy are very kind, and the neighbors we met were pleasant . The river and stars were breathtaking. It was a great hill country. Good... The airstream we stayed in was well equipped and well maintained. There was a learning curve understanding the air conditioning system. We stayed here a couple of day this week 2/11 - 2/13/2026. The Rv park is on top of a cliff above the Llano River. We went kayaking and fishing. The rv park has Kayaks to rent and for a small fee they will pick you up at the end or you can drop a truck off and bring the kayaks back. Tammy and Greg are the host and they were very accommodating and just all around great people. They answered any questions we had and went out of their way ro help with any of our needs. We will definitely be coming back to stay here.

We had a fabulous time camping at Dos Rios! The host Greg was so kind and welcoming. The whole campsite is so quaint well kept, along with the bathhouse which was such a bonus to have access to. The water is right there in walking distance which we spent the day by. We highly recommend staying at Dos Rios for a getaway trip. We will definitely be back!

This was nestled in a beautiful, remote location out in the hill country, and right down the road from the little town of Mason. If you're looking for an electronics getaway - this is your stop. No cell phone service, no TV, no internet. With that, if there's an emergency, you'll need to drive into town to get help because there's no cell phone service and hard to find any employees. Friendly guy... Friendly guy, though when you can catch him! Make sure you screen shot your entire welcome email before you get there. The restrooms didn't seem the cleanest and they had one toilet per restroom (1 unisex, 1 ladies, 1 mens). I don't want to end on a negative so I will say the river is very family friendly, the views are great, and there's some good exploring to do in the area. The locals seem nice. The campground is setup nice and in a way where it feels cozy. There were a few parts that threw us off for our first time, but with all that said- we are up to going back now that we are better prepared.

Edit: The manager reached out and let me know that the owner let her know it had been a miscommunication on their end and they gave me the refund I was wanting for the cabins! Really great recovery effort on their end and now my future visits can be made even better by this nice administrative accountability :) Well. Whoever bought this place from the original owners did it. I’ve enjoyed coming here in the past and I probably will continue coming because the site itself is great. But be warned of their booking fees “per booking” they don’t let you know that a 25$ cancellation fee that they choose to apply literally immediately after booking gets put on to every spot that you book in your booking with a single card. So if you booked a cabin and a campsite with your 1 card, guess what they’re charging you 50$ to cancel. I will be coming back again, but I will be extra careful to, not even read the fine print, but even try to read between the lines of what is said and what is implied because the extra cancelation fees per site is not mentioned anywhere.
