When we discovered the issue, the front desk was incredibly helpful and quickly moved us to a pull-through site that was perfect and had excellent views. Daily trash pickup right at the site was a small touch that made a big difference and was very much appreciated. Overall, a well-run, thoughtful RV resort — we would happily stay here again.

Stayed Sept of 2025. Sky views at night were beautiful. All the stars. Quiet, plenty of space to choose from. The pool after a long day of sight seeing was nice.

I was disappointed with our stay here. The bathrooms and showers were not clean during our visit. Toilets were disgusting, the showers didn't look like they had been cleaned in a week. The bathrooms and showers were not clean during our visit. Toilets were disgusting, the showers didn't look like they had been cleaned in a week. Children were left unsupervised in common areas and were just completely out of control. I'm not sure if it is a common thing here but during our stay they were basically making the common areas unusable. I am not talking children playing and having a good time, I'm talking extreme rough housing, screaming, banging on walls, doors, running in and out of the bathrooms. It was compete chaos and this was day and night. Besides that the outside grounds were kept up nice and trash was picked up. RV parking spots are close together but the quiet hours were respected. Location is good for day tripping to Big Bend.

We had a nice stay at Maverick. I would say this is a good location for Big Bend Ranch State Park, for the National Park, I might have preferred a place in Terlingua. We used the laundry and pool. Some nice landscaping with cacti. Several people were enjoying their fire pits. But as most places are, it’s all gravel. (Site 43)

Maverick rv park was amazing. Nicely located around everything. The main area and pool were great. The place was very clean. We will be back for sure. Very family friendly and the hiking trails directly behind the park made for great sunrise hikes.
