Chorro Vista is one of my favorite campsites in BBR. It is remote, primitive, has some great views, and makes for a nice drive out. Word of caution: ask about the road conditions before heading out. There are spots where the road could be washed out. Also, a couple of hills are loose gravel/rocks. 4WD could be required. Expect desert pinstriping from the vegetation if it is overgrown. The... The campsite itself is set off from the parking area and has a table and fire ring. It is pretty rocky and level spots are few and far between. Gnats can be a problem at this site.

Fantastic view, lots of space, and protected from wind. The camp site is very remote and requires a high clearance 4WD to get there. I would definitely stay here again.
