Probably the best ranch outside of Austin. Hard to get to, but offers multiple options for sport activities.

After visiting Flat Creek, my fiancé and I decided to book it as our wedding venue. We were promised many upcoming improvements to the ranch, such as three different ceremony sites, changes to the main hall, and upgrading of the cabins themselves. We were hesitant at first, but were reassured countless times that these changes were going to take place long before our wedding date. Needless to say... We were hesitant at first, but were reassured countless times that these changes were going to take place long before our wedding date. Needless to say these renovations still haven't even launched three months later. The real issue was that we were promised a contract the day after our initial visit, but did not receive it. We decided to give them some time, as weddings are not something they typically do. Two weeks passed and we were ready to make our payment in full, and even had the money set aside. We tried multiple times to contact the ranch manager, and even the HR department, leaving many voicemails and emails. Still little attempt was made to contact us. Three months later we were finally contacted the HR department. They promised this was unusual, that our contract was in the works, and it will be sent by the end of the week. Two more weeks passed when we finally decided to look elsewhere for a venue. After much panic, we luckily found an amazing venue who sent our contract immediately after our visit as promised. Flat Creek, and all associated really put us in a tough spot, with excuse after excuse. It's a real shame because it really is a beautiful location. If you are fed the same false empty promises that we were, please reconsider holding any important function here.

im Staying at the flat crossing ranch and this is close by. My first time eating here and was super filling and portions for 2 were on point. If they had a place back in San Antonio I would eat there everyday. Everyone was friendly and I love the country vibe.
