Granger is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

The best thing about this place is the dock in the midst of the boat ramp. I visited in the low season. The bathrooms are open but not maintained, except for toilet paper. The campground was locked so campers couldn't park vehicles near the picnic tables.

Great views of Granger Lake. The trails here were really nice, loved the old bridges and the history panels.

Loved camping here, we stayed from July 27th- 29th for my husband's birthday and it was fantastic. Park hosts are wonderful and were very helpful. The site included passes for our guests to park without an issue. My only issue is that the bathrooms were a distance away and had been taken over by bugs. The cob webs were pretty bad. We will be returning in late August/ early September.

Nice place if you are looking to get away from the crowds and fish or just enjoy the lake.
