Group Camping Area

The single room cabin with the loft beds was sufficient for our family of 4 adults and 1 chiel for a night. The cabin had all the amenities - kitchen, utensils, AC, clean bath, seating area and fire pit+picnic table outside. The store was stalked and the staff was super helpful. Kids can have additional fun with the goats and donkey at the barnyard. For adults, we enjoyed the hot jacuzzi and poo... Kids can have additional fun with the goats and donkey at the barnyard. For adults, we enjoyed the hot jacuzzi and pool. The place is ideal to explore the nearby Dinosaur Valley State Park, Fossil Rim wildlife centre, Glen Rose historic downtown. Easy check in and check out. Additional tip - if you are an astronomy buff, then this place offers an excellent view of night sky :) Will surely come back in summer.

The cabins were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped — complete with comfortable beds, a full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, utensils, seasonings, and everything we needed to make it feel like home. We also appreciated the ample parking, privacy between cabins, and the overall peaceful atmosphere of the park. The amenities and activities were endless! Our group enjoyed the refreshing pool, access to the river, basketball court, and the adorable barnyard animals that added so much charm to the experience. And the best part? Dinosaur Valley State Park is just steps away, making it easy to explore the trails, fossil sites, and lookout points without ever needing to drive far. Whether you’re planning a family getaway, a group retreat, or a youth camping adventure, Dinosaur Valley RV Park is the perfect destination. This RV park is fantastic. Everything is very clean. The spaces are wide. Its quiet and peaceful. It's about 5 years old but it's maintained so well, it looks brand new. The staff is great. There's a new Costco being built just down the street and the new HEB is wonderful! I have family that lives in the area and will stay here everytime I come down for a visit. Do not follow Google maps through the neighborhood of The Colony. Do not put the address into Google Maps because there are many "Fishtrap" streets and it never took us the correct way. Instead, input the name of the resort.
