This is without a doubt The nicest COE Park I have visited in Texas. Far better than the several I stayed at on the Sam Rayburn reservoir. 😬 This is well maintained, well staffed, nicely manicured. Most of the site tables are covered and each site has a fire pit with a grill on it as well as a separate grill. Many of the grills are being replaced with actual barbecues that have a cover on them!♨... This is without a doubt The nicest COE Park I have visited in Texas. Many of the grills are being replaced with actual barbecues that have a cover on them!♨️ The sites are well spaced. Some of them are a little undesirable like perhaps mine because of its positioning. There's literally a dumpster every 50 ft! 🚮 So no excuse for trash being anywhere and honestly this is the first place I've been in 3 months that I haven't picked up half a bag of trash! Three large loops. And two smaller ones. All the campsites are pretty much level. And they all have 30/50 night lighted power stations🔌 Nice hiking trail too.🚶🏻‍♂️🥾 It's a couple of miles and winds through the former primitive tent site ⛺area, which is now shut down.😥 I don't know why? It looks like it was a nice at one time. There's two main areas. They have a bathroom 🚻and they have water. 💧

We have really enjoyed this beautiful campground. We stayed at two different sites. The bathrooms are very good sized. It is summer, so remember they are going to be a bit warm and buggy. The trails are so pretty and quiet. There are benches placed sporadically down them as well. Dumpsters are emptied often. The park is clean except for visitors that do not pick up after themselves. The park is clean except for visitors that do not pick up after themselves. The people at the gatehouse are so very kind. Several sites have direct access to the water. The majority have shade. Some have both. One boat ramp. Lots of open grass. Wildlife is wonderful to watch. There are lots of ants. Remember to spray anything touching the ground. Do not leave out food and drinks. Even in your camper. Gates do lock at 10pm. Not an issue for me, but you can exit the park at any time. Just no entry until the gates open the next morning, It keeps people from wandering and driving through all night. It really is quite peaceful here. And secure at night. Which my husband appreciates very much.

This was a fun, clean, relaxing and great place I went camping at! I really enjoyed my time here and was glad there were public restrooms and showers on the campsite. The electricity, water, and goos cell service made our stay wonderful.
