The town itself is a very safe town and due to the Lab in Los Alamos the cops know everyone and keep close tabs on how is in town. There was a guy that hung out a lot at the pavilion there there near the park. He was very kind and friendly to talk to. He never asked for a single thing just would chat if you wanted to chat. The police know him and everything about him. If you see him don’t be worried.

The only place to RV park in White Rock. A parking lot attached to the Visitor Ctr. Beautifully landscaped. Clean. Very nice dog park. Backed up against some low hills with roadway on front side. Near grocery store and library. Can board bus for Bandolier at this Center. $20/night payable at kiosk. Electricity included. Cannot dump gray or black tanks here —

Loved everything about this little RV park. It is self-service. It's first come first serve. The visitor center can give you a heads up if it is full or not. It cost only $20 a night for 24 hours. So if you arrive at 9pm you can leave at 9pm the next day. Across the street is a playground, Waterpark, skate park, and library for kids. It only has electric, not water hookups. The RV park is big rig friendly. We were towing 40ft 5th wheel.

While no showers and full hookups, for $20 a night, it's hard to beat. Clean, modern and well kept. It does have water and black water station.

As much as I would like too recommend this campground, I cannot. The 30+ dogs at the rescue next door BARK constantly from 6am to 9pm! There is absolutely no quiet time during the daylight hours. It's ashame too because the campground is nice

David is the host with the most Complications on the road kept us from checking in until late on Christmas Day. David was very gracious in helping us get to our spot after 9:00 PM. He was very gracious and letting us make the minor repairs in order to continue our journey. We will always be grateful and fond of the memories we have of our stay at the Alamo River campground!

Very nice RV park. Well-maintained and clean. The only complaint is that it is close to a dog boarding kennel and they bark A LOT. Never kept me awake, but annoying 🙄. I will be staying here again.

I really loved staying here! I was here for BMT graduation and it was close enough to the base but but far away enough from the city where its nice and quiet. Really enjoyed watching the deer and walking around down by the river. Got some great pics of the river and surrounding trees. I will be back whenever I visit San Antonio again.

We love it here! The new pool is a great way to cool off on hot days and the grounds and buildings are always well maintained. Davina and Terry are great hosts and the lower part of the part is so quiet and relaxing. I’ve never felt safer or more at home. Keep it up!
