NOT WELL MAINTAINED ROADS!!!! My gosh for the rate you pay the roads and grounds should be way better. There are holes 2'x 2' and dips that throw your car and equipment around. Even at 10 mph you can not avoid the amount of potholes and uneven pavement/road material that joggles you around. This campground is located inside a gated community and for certain memberships and community owners only. F... First come first served spaces. Pick one then fill in the card and place in location boxes. Wifi present. I feel sorry for the community and any other camping club that pays dues to have this or stays at campground. It is fall here, so tons of leaves and tree debris to deal with. In 3 days I have not seen one person maintaining the grounds. The pool is full of leaves and locked up. There is a fireplace by the lake but I would be afraid to use it so much debris that could catch fire around it and a tree not trimmed too close to it. The cornhole boards are so rotten and no carpet left; the bean bags were left there so we tried them. The bags were wet and about to fall apart. Every bag hitting board sounded like the boards were going to collapse through. They had a burn pile smoldering by the entrance bridge that stunk sooooo bad it smelled up my car every time we drove by. The sites are okay but not level so be prepared with blocks. I didn't go into the bathrooms or showers, so I can't comment about those. There are a couple of dumpsters for garbage but no cans throughout to throw away garbage. I picked up quite a bit of garbage that had blown around. I had to walk it all the way to the clubhouse dumpsters to deposit it. There is no dedicated swim area that I could see. Logs, green slime, and all natural waters edge to the lake and inlets. I did not see a boat launch, but did see a fenced area for storage of rv's and boats. Again, not well maintained road into t the storage area. Log across the driveway that has falled recently. I'm not sure i would trust the water without filters! We had a couple hours with no water randomly. No notice to us by email or phone. If we weren't visiting someone here at the community we would have left and found a different rv park to stay at. The price is double what we are paying at other well maintained rv parks. The positive parts of this stay were: the Lake is beautiful to look at, deer, turtles, and birds to see and hear. It is EXTREMELY quiet (away from roads, trains and air traffic). These are the only reasons for any stars.

I used to love this place but current management has ruined it (my opinion) They cancelled my membership for asking why the permanent resident members are not held to the same rules as the camping members. Look elsewhere if you like to “camp” if you’re looking for a nice RV park to live in this may be good for you. But as a camping club it’s not what it was intended to be.

Quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife. We’ve been going there for 12 years and love it so much we leased a site so we can come and go more often. A great pavilion with bands and activities on holiday weekends. Amazing sunrises across the lake. The staff at the gate and office are very friendly and helpful. A great family and pet oriented place to camp. You will definitely be glad you gave it a try.

We loved it so much we have never been to another park. I don’t know if the views are what we love, the people you meet here, or the wildlife. All of this lured us in and kept us. The camping group here is like a big family! We loved it so much we’ve been leasing here for 3 years going on 4. The pad sites are so roomy. You don’t walk out your door and run into your neighbor’s camper! Our child is grown, but it fills my heart to hear children running around playing and riding their bikes. We have a beautiful playground. On holidays, we have dances and activities! The staff is always willing to help campers. If you have company, there are log cabins. Most sites have a beautiful view of the lake. There are two pools. A creek with benches to sit while fishing. There is access to the golf course, tennis and pickle ball courts. We are located within a gated community. We have our own park access gate. We also have gated camper storage. I encourage you to give us a try! You will not regret it. Who knows. . . you just might end up joining our beautiful park or better yet LEASING with us.
