Found this place by mistake last year 2022 but I have been going to it either early in the morning or late evening to enjoy watching nature, the sunrise/sunset. The park is kept clean for the most part. Haven't swam here yet but the shores are nice and lots of private areas. Last visit was February 16th when it was cold 😆😂😂🤣🤣🤣 saw lots of Deer though that day Will be going to visit North... Let's start with the good: the views of the lake are fantastic. Waking up and seeing the water is the best part of this campground. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for us. Be warned, your reservation might not mean much. We booked a specific site, but when we got there, they had moved us. The office staff claimed other campers had overstayed, but it felt like a disorganized system.... Let's start with the good: the views of the lake are fantastic. We booked a specific site, but when we got there, they had moved us. The office staff claimed other campers had overstayed, but it felt like a disorganized system. It’s frustrating when you plan your setup around a spot you chose yourself. The facility maintenance is a real problem. The bathrooms are straight-up horrible. Several were locked, and the ones that were open were in terrible shape. Don't expect clean or even fully functional restrooms here. On top of that, the picnic table at our site was infested with fire ants, making it totally unusable for eating or cooking. It's just another sign that nobody is really keeping up with basic maintenance around the grounds. If you only care about a pretty view and can overlook everything else, maybe you'll be fine. But for us, the bad far outweighed the good. We'll be camping elsewhere next time.

Nice camping/rv spots. Have to go through south holiday park to get here, which gives Google maps problems (it will send you to a locked gate) Showers and bathrooms. Shows its age in some places.

Love this lake. Great place to fish and swim. Although, the people who take of it are horrible. They had several areas with gates closed weeks after the lake has gone from all the rain.
