This is a great place to go if you want peace and quiet. The lake is down so it's not as easy to launch a boat but the property is full of trees and far away from the noisy roads. There's a convenience store five minutes away in either direction, and there are washers and dryers as well as showers on site if you don't have access to your own. Kayak and atv rentals available as well.

I had the same experience as Casey Moreland. I had booked an RV spot about a year ago for the eclipse. I don't blame the manager, they were just the messenger. I did respond to the cancellation email asking if there was any way I could contact the new owners for additional information or to see if some arrangement could be made... no response.

We stayed one night in our Motor Home at this place. It was a very serene place. We enjoyed the evening sky. The lake is a long way from the bank but it is still accessible. Over all we are looking forward to our return trip there this weekend. Our son and some of the grand children are staying in a very nice cabin w a jacuzzi. I recommend this park . It is more than expected.

Same as the last two reviews, they cancelled my eclipse reservation I had made almost a year ago. So it's not a big surprise that I had a reservation there if they would have replied to my message on Facebook because they did read it. Luckily I was able to get a spot at Lake Waco but this was a huge risk for me because I already had asked off my vacation and I almost lost it. Again I think they just wanted more money and they realized they had messed up and not charged enough like everybody else which I think is terrible. Now if you had contacted me a few months back and said that we had not realized that we needed to charge more I might have put up the money but just canceling was not the way to handle it. I won't ever stay here.
