Sonora is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

If you need to get some rest and pull off the road this place will serve you well. It is a first come first serve place, we called a head and asked how full they were. There are two Bathrooms with showers and sink in one room, and there are also washer and driers. There was no soap. You pay across the street at the Super 8 Motel. Donut shop, Sonic and dairy Queen are all very close. Felt very safe... If you need to get some rest and pull off the road this place will serve you well. Elite RV park is easily accessible off I-10 in Sonora Texas. We were traveling across Texas and needed a stopover point for a couple of nights. The park contains 25 or so concrete paved sites. They are angled and are back in. There were several large motor coaches parked when we arrived. The pads are clean and level. They are close together but manageable. Each site has full hookups. They are close together but manageable. Each site has full hookups. It is first come first serve. You pull into the park and pick a site. There were several to choose from when we first arrived. Then walk or drive across the street to the Super 8 motel and pay. They give you a key to unlock the utility pedestal. I had no problem with the hookups. A very good sewer connection. The park had some temporary residence when I was there. They are working on a major construction project in the area. Two of them helped me out with a problem I had with my trailer. Good folks. The park has a laundry, two bathrooms and two showers. They are new and clean. Decent Wi-Fi. You are within walking distance of restaurants and convenience stores. A grocery store and a hardware store are a half mile drive. If you are looking for a stopover point in the middle of nowhere Texas, I recommend this place.

Stopped for one night. Has level concrete pads with full hookups and nice bathrooms and showers. The only small downside is the park is not enclosed by fences or gates. Although we did not have any issues. Would stay again.

Perfect little park for passing thru. The sites are level, very quiet, and ideal for a quick stay. Going across the street to the motel to check in and out is no big deal. The girls who work there are very sweet. The restrooms/showers are spacious, and clean. The donut shop across the street is amazing. Perfect stop.
