Located in Wimberley, a charming community known for its artistic spirit and natural beauty, this resort puts you within easy reach of some of the area's most treasured attractions and experiences.

Wimberley itself is a destination worth savoring. The town is famous for its thriving arts and culture scene, with galleries, studios, and artisan shops lining the streets of downtown. Loved our stay at Horeshoe Ridge! This is a beautiful, newly built park with fantastic amenities and an unbeatable Hill Country vibe. The pool alone has views that are stunning! This is a beautiful, newly built park with fantastic amenities and an unbeatable Hill Country vibe. The pool alone has views that are stunning! The Lounge/Clubhouse is cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, complete with games, a TV with streaming services and a kitchen available for guest use. This turned out to be a lifesaver during a bad weather day, giving our group the perfect place to gather, eat, and spend the day together comfortably. The staff was friendly and kind — the kind of people who make you feel welcome instead of just checked in. They also have a 24-hour honor system convenience store, that is well stocked with food, snacks, and camping essentials. Oddly enough, the restrooms are outstanding! Truly not your typical RV park restrooms — clean, modern, and well cared for. Normally I include photos with my reviews, but I was so wrapped up enjoying the weekend that I completely forgot to take any — which honestly says it all. We had a great weekend and I couldn’t be more pleased with this park!! Cell Service: Verizon signal was strong with a solid 4 bars of 4G. If I had to offer one tiny preference (not really a complaint): the end sites at the back of the property face forward instead of taking advantage of the epic yard space behind them... That said, the staff doesn’t mind if you pull in “backwards” — it just requires a little extra hose length to reach the hookups. Also worth mentioning: the town of Wimberley is just a short drive away and was absolutely adorable decorated for the holidays. We will absolutely be back. Horseshoe Ridge RV Resort knocked it out of the park.

The campsites are spacious with plenty of room, and my husband especially appreciated the wide turns that make navigating an RV much easier. It was a bit too chilly to enjoy the pool this time, but we’re already planning to return when the weather is warmer. The on-site store was fully stocked with anything you might need, which was great peace of mind during our stay. We also loved the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. One thing to note—something we didn’t know beforehand—is that only propane fire pits are allowed, so keep that in mind when planning your trip. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and look forward to coming back.

The people are warm and friendly, always eager to say hello, invite us to a community activity like the Friday Social or Saturday Pancake Breakfast, or to help with anything we need. We love it here!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a free valet service that picks up your trash every day and will also fill your propane tank if you leave it at the end of your driveway. This RV park is just minutes from a winery or 2 and the charming town of Wimberly. Grocery and hardware stores nearby also. We loved our 2 week stay at this clean and well run RV resort!

A+ stay at Horseshoe Ridge! The park was so clean and tidy; the amenity center was a blessing since it was a little chilly outside! Played pool while enjoying music and chatting with fellow RV campers! We are planning to return so we can utilize the pool and fire pits! Thanks so much for the Texas hospitality!
