Great location, clean and neat. This is a great location close to downtown Port A. Golf carts are street legal in a lot of the area, so that seems to be the preferred way to get around. This resort is on the canal side, not the Gulf side, so not walking distance to the beach. Walking distance to lots of other things though. Good restaurants in the area. Golf carts are street legal in a lot of the area, so that seems to be the preferred way to get around. This resort is on the canal side, not the Gulf side, so not walking distance to the beach. Walking distance to lots of other things though. Good restaurants in the area. We stayed here over New Year's Eve and took a boat tour out on the water to watch fireworks. It's also pretty close to Mustang Island State Park and the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center and Nature Reserve. We had a back in site that was level. The clubhouse was clean and it looked like there were lots of activities there. Bathrooms were very clean. Did not try the showers or laundry. You can get Corpus Christi TV stations on your OTA antenna. We set up our Starlink, so didn't try the park wifi. It was relatively quiet. Lots of Winter Texans, of course, but the park wasn't completely full. This little town has a great vibe. We would stay here again. We camped at LaFitte's Hideout RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent a month here and loved it! Easy access to the beach, ferry, and shops. No matter what your sport is there is something nearby for you! Park was always clean & well maintained, with good power & water pressure. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place especially if you're going to be leaving out at 5:00 a.m. for the Dolphin Dock. This is our second time to stay here and the rooms are clean and the hosts are always very nice and professional

Interesting small RV business. Very nice transient RV people and great staff...very accommodating. If you have a long rig pick site 52-54. Nice private dog run space also at a premium site 20. Great pol and fun nites at the club house. Decent rates but like everything else in tourist towns they go up in price during high season.

We love our La Fittes family & stay here everytime we visit Port A. We love the friendly staff & how well the park is maintained! We are entertained with live music, games, & gatherings with LOTS of food. But my favorite part, its walking distance to the beach! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!
