About Port A RV Resort
Campground in Texas.
Port A RV Resort offers the perfect home base for exploring one of Texas's most beloved coastal destinations. Located in Port Aransas at 2600 State Highway 361, this full-service RV park provides convenient access to the natural beauty and recreational opportunities that make the Texas Gulf Coast so special.
Port Aransas is a charming fishing village with a rich maritime heritage and laid-back coastal atmosphere. The town has long been known as the "Fishing Capital of Texas," drawing anglers from across the country who come to pursue redfish, tarpon, and flounder in the bays and nearshore waters. Whether you're an experienced angler or a beginner looking to try your hand at fishing for the first time, the area offers excellent opportunities for both bay fishing and deep-sea charter expeditions. Several reputable fishing guide services operate from nearby docks, and tackle shops throughout town can outfit you with everything you need.
Beyond fishing, Port Aransas beaches provide miles of sandy shores perfect for swimming, shell collecting, and relaxing under the Texas sun. The area's natural ecosystem is remarkably diverse, making it excellent for birdwatching and nature photography. Mustang Island State Park and Port Aransas-Mustang Island Beach offer beautiful outdoor spaces where you can explore the coastal environment at your own pace.
The town itself is walkable and welcoming, with waterfront restaurants serving fresh seafood, casual dining spots, and local shops that reflect the community's authentic character. You'll find art galleries, gift shops, and entertainment venues that give the area cultural depth beyond its outdoor attractions.
The location makes Port A RV Resort ideal for families seeking beach time, fishing enthusiasts planning extended trips, couples looking for a peaceful coastal retreat, and anyone interested in experiencing authentic Gulf Coast Texas. With 185 sites available, the resort provides the accommodations needed for a comfortable stay while you explore everything Port Aransas has to offer.
