I would highly suggest considering renting here and becoming part of the community it's about as good as you can get for an RV village!

It's a nice long term RV Camp with lots of trees and a dog park. Some covered slots all with sewer, water and elect. There's a laundry, shower, restrooms. Amnity center with tables, bbq pits and pool table, sink, fridge for residents. Friendly people and responsive management.

I moved into the Shilo RV Village at the end of August 2025. And I couldn’t be happier! I moved into the Shilo RV Village at the end of August 2025. And I couldn’t be happier! Unlike every other RV park, I ever checked, this place has lots of trees for privacy in between each of the slipping, and is a bit more out in the country so it’s quieter. And feels much more homey and lived than a lot of those sterile slab RV parks that they have out there. I had bought a tiny home, and this is one of the few places out there that allow for tiny homes as well! And there are several other people on the property that owned tiny homes! And I’m really grateful that this is the place I chose to move into. They have wonderful amenities, including on-site, laundry, a fruit orchard, some very friendly donkeys next-door that love to come to the fence in the evening for scratches and free handouts of vegetables or fruit. As well as an amenity center where there is a big screen TV, a pool table, a small bookshelf, and a full-size stove and oven with plenty of tables and chairs for everyone to sit at. This is also where everyone hangs out if they wanna get together to watch football in the fall, and for any community based event that we hold. We just had a Halloween party, which even encouraged the adults to dress up! And they were prizes, handed out for best costume, and best couples costume. And it was lots of fun! In fact, we use a community try to get together once a month, we management puts together some sort of event. Whether it’s a barbecue cook off, a bingo night, or some sort of spaghetti night, it’s a great way for everyone to get together and spend some time with each other, And make some new friends. Everyone that works in the office is very kind, and always has the time to answer any questions that I had. And all of my new neighbors are wonderful and very helpful. I’m grateful I chose to move out here where it’s quieter, and I have never seen so many stars in the sky as before I moved out here. And I’ve been told by many people that in spring blue bonnets bloom everywhere and I’m looking forward to it! There are plenty of families here as well, with kids, that always run around and play at the end of the day, which makes it feel more like a lived in loving neighborhood than a retirement center, or a camping park. The kids always go to the fence on the side, because that’s when the donkeys come out in the evening. I’ve bought extra apples, cause I’m at the very end of the lane, to hand out. Should I be able to catch the kids fast enough for them to feed to the donkeys. If you’re looking for a wonderful new place to live, that’s quiet And feels like a real neighborhood instead of a sterile RV park, then this is the place for you. I’m always happy to make new friends and welcome any new neighbors!
