Well worth the stop after a week of boondocking on the road 😊

This place is not like the photos. It is dirty, like litter everywhere. You get a concrete pad and that's it, not even a picnic table. The deluxe and regular sites are the exact same. They say the deluxe are bigger, they're not. The 2 closest bathhouses were almost a quarter mile walk, I kid you not. In 90 degree heat, no shade, and humidy it's absolutely worthless. In 90 degree heat, no shade, and humidy it's absolutely worthless. My husband said many of the KOAs we stay at had nicer bathrooms, but said these were at least clean. The dog parks are super tiny and again this place has not one inch of shade. I would not recommend this place if your looking for something halfway nice. The amenities might be nice, but the park and sites are not. This place accommodates contractors not actual vacationers. We did ask for our money back and cancelled our stay after one night, which they did give us our money back so there is that. P.S. There is no WiFi, you have to bring your own hardware.

This park is not as nice as it’s advertised. We wintered here for four years, and the condition of the resort declined each year. It has become noticeably dirtier and poorly maintained. The trash dumpsters are always overflowing and trash is all over the ground. The hot tub only works about half the time. There is ongoing truck maintenance around the park, and one truck with a flat tire near the beer garden has been sitting there for over two years. Despite this, prices have continued to increase while the overall quality has significantly decreased.

My sister-in-law & her husband go here for a few months every winter, and she's a bit picky about RV parks. My husband & I visited her for several days and it really is nice. Jetstream is a fantastic RV resort to stay at when visiting South Padre Island. Every site features a level concrete pad, and the entire property is exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed the pool and exercise room, and the bathrooms and showers were spotless. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you!
