Wintergreen RV Park and Storage

My husband and I moved our rv from Beaumont to Seguin to be closer to our daughter that was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer.We chose Wintergreen RV Park since the owner is retired DPS/DEA . Our son-in-law is also in the DPS family and we thought this would be a safe and honest place to stay.We stayed there 24 hours or less. My husband had two companies in different towns competing to hire h... Our son-in-law is also in the DPS family and we thought this would be a safe and honest place to stay.We stayed there 24 hours or less. My husband had two companies in different towns competing to hire him so after some overnight thinking we decided to chose the last offer over the original.Mr.Lubbock knew our situation and even talked with our daughter and grandchildren.After moving we promptly received a refund check for the $100 deposit but he kept the rest of the $400 lot rent for the whole month !!!!! Yes his receipt does state “No refunds for early departure “ but come on here !!! Where is the human factor here ????? Just because something is “Legal” doesn’t always make it “Right” Maybe you have spent too much time around criminals Mr.Lubbock.Your heart has been hardened.It would have been 100 percent fair to keep the $100 and refund the rest unless we had stayed for half of the month or even a full week.Well you enjoy that money.Go buy a new gas pump decoration or whatever you want. It won’t hurt us financially as much as it will to know another human can show such indifference toward a family that is already going through such heartache and fear of the future.

Attempted to call for availability and reservations, the phone call was answered by someone simply saying "hello" without confirmation of who I was calling. I asked if I had reached evergreen RV park ( I got the name wrong ) and was very rudely corrected. I asked about availability, and the person on the phone mumbled an answer that I could not understand. When I asked them to repeat their respons... Attempted to call for availability and reservations, the phone call was answered by someone simply saying "hello" without confirmation of who I was calling. When I asked about pricing, I heard an exaggerated sigh and was hung up on. I would definitely recommend taking your business somewhere else.
