Very beautiful park. Only had a limited time to walk the trails but for the hour and a half that we spent there it was a very enjoyable experience.

Had a great time at the Youth Deer Hunt in late January 2025. The staff was awesome and the park was wonderful. We were successful in the hunt and helped out the deer management for the park. We will definitely be back to hike and fish. They also cater to those with horses, they have pens near the camp area for horses. They have trails for horses as well.

The most helpful check-in ranger I've encountered yet! She handed me a map with the route marked to my campsite, then mentioned she had a number of other sites available. I was super excited to trade in my close-quarters equestrian site and nab a more private and spacious spot on the water (site 42). Restrooms seemed brand new. The lake was great- it felt huge to me. The water was warm!

Great fall camping, lake is quiet and good for kayaking. Good price, especially with Parks Pass. Corrals for horses. Extra parking. Lots of stars. • Dump Station • Restrooms / Showers - clean. The Bent Tree area has a portable trailer for the restrooms and showers. The main building is closed. • There are Munzees and Geocaches here • Lots of trails in the park and between this and the Birch Creek... Great fall camping, lake is quiet and good for kayaking.
