What a great spot in the middle of the canyon. The views are amazing and the hiking trails are numerous. There is always shade to find whether it's on the north or the south side of the canyon. Great biking trail to ride along the river, pack a lunch and plenty of water and make an unforgettable day of your adventure.

Nice, scenic campground just far enough away from the highway to eliminate traffic noise. No shade and very little vegetation at most camp sites.

I guess my rating depends on what you are looking for in your stay. The views are beyond words but the seclusion and tranquility are dictated by the rafters who really don't care for the view and like to play loudly. No water or sewer but there are a couple of vault toilets. 20 bucks a night per spot. There were about 20 spots.

Great campground with a nice layout for those who don't want a lot of noise. The solo sites are on one side of the campground while the group sites are down closer to the river. Enough separation that the noise isn't too crazy. One group was having a party one night with a lot of music but at our site it wasn't overwhelming. The views were great and the site was flat and clean. I'd prefer the smal... Great campground with a nice layout for those who don't want a lot of noise. I'd prefer the smaller campgrounds with fewer people but this is a great option when you're in a pinch.

Spectacular scenery . Very quiet only 2 campers when we were there . Yes it is open and exposed but the view makes up for it. To watch the changing colors on the cliff's as the sun goes down is an experience
